I have been teaching violin lessons for over twelve years and started my own private studio eight years ago. I teach a wide range of ages and levels, with an appreciation for the different advantages that learning at varying ages brings. My focus is on teaching a solid classical technique, as I seek to tailor my teaching to the individual needs of each student. A strong foundation built on solid technique is very important; yet leaning music should be fun as well! As a member of my studio, students have the opportunity to hone their skills, share what they have learned with others as they perform, and be a part of a supportive musical community. They are encouraged to apply themselves, work hard for their goals and enjoy the process!
